Henskin Lake

Like...IT'S JULY!!! It takes a long time to melt the snow pack when it's 125% of the average year. Again, at the trailhead, there was no snow. But as we gained elevation we found the snow and also found ourselves in the clouds. This lake is about the size of a football field, but we couldn't even see the other side. This was quite a difference from the last time we were here...last fall on a warm, beautiful day. There is natural beauty in all kinds of weather. We will never be just fair weather hikers...we would miss soooo much.
