I was in Scotland last weekend and by some miraculous chance, encountered the notorious NESSIE by night after we had alighted from our vehicle to take a look at this marvelous landscape.
Artist Reply: Thanks, Loredana! I was just 'kidding around', really! Did go to Scotland but nowhere near Loch Ness. In fact, this picture is derived from a photograph I took of a table lamp (one with a wick that burns parrafin) made of pottery. This photo was inverted (colour) and turned through 90 degrees. All that I did then was to provide a frame, a horizon line, the moon and its reflection using the simplest of means ('paint'). There are Northern Lights visible, too; all in the original shot!
