This image is of Lady Macbeth... In my opinion she was the strongest character in the play up until her insanity... This image represents her obsession with water and how her hands must be clean when she feels gulity for all of the murders... The mask is gently in her hands for, the way I see it, she is just about to drop it and lose her sanity all together and fall into the water to finally clear her soul.
