This piece was based on another artist's work, but made a turn on its own. In the bottom right-hand corner of the image, I had been smudging off the unwanted color from my pastels after blending them with other colors. My instructor suggested that I keep the blending of colors there to make the piece look a little less formal. I love the final outcome. Copyright LeMae Morrissey
