Celebration Of Roses

Celebrate the summer with roses! Share them with the ones you love, stop to smell them, pick them, give them, but celebrate and enjoy them. This is an abstrat work I created using Corel software. I did manipulate a painting of my to create the effects it has.

this would be fun texture for a summer outfit...... nice job Terry

Artist Reply: Thanks Corry! It would be! My sister wants to do quilts now of my designs. LOL! She loved this one. I dragged her over today, as she doesn't have internet. She'll be back and I'll teach her how to do computer art and crafting. It will be fun to do together. I have another computer I can set up for her, and it's the excuse I need to by the newer Wacom tablet. Going on a road trip next week with her, and Misty Livingston! Watch out folks! We have cameras!

Love the texture in this Terry wonderful abstract work :

Artist Reply: Thank you! My sister saw this one today. After our vupcoming road trip, she wants to start making quilts with my designs. Some she will cut pieces, others we will hand paint the fabic dye, some print out the iron transfer dye, or other modern quiltmaking work. As long as I don't have to sew, I'm in! If we get it going, I will post up the quilts.

terry this is great work...wow...

Artist Reply: Thanks! I loved the colors in a nother work that I added deeper hues, and manipulated them to spread out more before adding the glass and pattern effect. Makes such a difference in the work!

gorgous and beautiful!

Artist Reply: Thank you! Often the small thumbnails don't let you see the textures, such as this. So glad you took a look and saw it.

Looksa like a palet knife did asome cool astuff!!!

Artist Reply: It's a nice effect. I did a kalidiscope I posted at the same time wit other added design features, but this one, I did the surfuse to get the glass print effect. It made a totally different work with the way it blurred and spread the paint colors. Wish I could do it with a palette knife. That would be fun to have pattern knifes. SOme one create them please!
