Frosted Glass Kalidiscope

This is a design I created from a photo I took. I wanted to use certain colors and shapes for this design. I used Corel software to manipulate the photo into the kalidiscope. I wanted to place more with textures with this one. It was hot out today, so I was thinking of the way frost used to cover my bedroom window growing up. It would make such beautiful designs, I would breath my warm breath on the window to try to see out through it. Sometimes it would be so coluld, it would make some more crystaling like patterns appear outside the glass. It wasn't well insulated glass, but it was beautiful!

TERRY u just do so awsome work...

Artist Reply: Thanks Bianca! I'm still pretty new at this, and teaching myself as I go. I enjoy playing with settings, trying new brushes, effects, etc. Some you just have to create on your own, a manual won't have it due to all the mixtures you can create. I can use one software texture, save the image, opo into another to mix with what that program has, then go to another. Trying to temember how I got an effect, well that's the hardest thing to do! LOL! Too lazy to keep track of it.

Super imagery....details are so perfected in the textures.

Artist Reply: Thank you Tazda! The glassy effect is a great texture I found and will have to think of some cool designs to use it in.

Terry this is wonderful I agree the close up looks fantastic with the texture showing

Artist Reply: Thank you Zoe! Often I forget and should post up close up of my work. Some details are hard to see on the image size that gets posted. I have been working on correcting this, but way behind. In my portraits and digital paintings, the image sometimes looks like a photo, while a close up shows the detail brush stokes. I do often blend out brush strokes to get a smooth look for some areas. That helps it look more natural, like a photo, and takes more work to achieve it.
