Sacred Apple Trees

On Friday, March 24th we woke up to a snowy spring morning. This picture was taken approx. 7:45am. Even though it appears to be similar to a black & white photo it was so foggy & hazy this is actually what it looked like out the window. :-) You can see two of the very old apple trees on the property covered with snow. It was such a beautiful sight on a spring morning in Ohio, I just had to snap a picture. These trees like to show off anyway. :-)

Artist Reply: Thanks Jamie! I love looking out my window and seeing this northern view. It's so beautiful when it's snowing and foggy out. I'm very glad you liked this photograph. Thank you for leaving me such a sweet comment.

I like it! Great eye and photography - also like your philosophy!

Artist Reply: Thanks a million Joseph! Your thoughts are very kind! My life experiences have made me who I am today. I try to capture these in my photography and artwork. Even though they are so different in style they are very similar in meaning. Nature will provide me with the opportunity, but I must hear her first before I can capture that one single moment. Thanks again!!!! :-)

Very still and beautiful.

Artist Reply: Thank you so much Nancy! The moment was so surreal when I captured this picture. Everything was still & quiet. I felt as if I was in a mystical fantasy land waiting for fairies and other creatures to appear. :-)
