Bowl of peppers close up

I confess that for some reason, peppers enchant me. I don't know why! LOL! I love the look, growing them, cooking with them, learning about them, and watching people burn off their taste buds eating them. I can barely stand a mildly hot pepper myself. Maybe that's why they draw my interest. I am beginning a Pepper Mania gallery. It may amuse or enchant you, or eventually get on your nerves. I apologize in advance, and warn you, there will be peppers and lots of them. I may have to go out in search of rare and exotic peppers. If you have some you would like to join the gallery, I will credit them as yours and link them back to you if you want to sell them, let me know. Remember that AW has strict guidelines on what may be posted. I will post a forum notice if you want to only join in there. All proceeds I receive from sales of prints or paintings I might do myself will be donated to the Elementary School I work at, to help with buying supplies and fun things for the Special Ed class I work in. (I spend most my pay check I earn on them already and they are so worth it!) So pepper Mania Begins!

So wonderfully rich and colorful.....really wonderfull organic....of course.

Artist Reply: Thanks Tazda!! I love organic when I can get it or grow it. Lots of produce farms nearby me. Also, some large organic health food stores, supermarket sized. More taste and some more varieties dometimes then what is found in many typical supermarkets. They are getting more competive out here by selling more organic.

I agree - peepers are really great subjects - and I love them! so many varieties, shapes, sizes....great shot, Terry!

Artist Reply: Thanks Joseph! They have fun irregular shapes, often not symmetrical, small fat, long and skinny, some small, and a good variety of colors. I like the reflective waxy glow off them. Fun still life food to work with.

I love the smell of peppers cooking , but not the taste of them. Nice bright colors and composing.

Artist Reply: I like to munch on them grilled and freshly cut uncooked most. I love sweet peppers. My nose gets singed just smelling across a table some of the hot peppers.
