Very sweet work!!!

Artist Reply: Thanks so very much, dear! The work itself becomes sweeter to me with a comment like. :) Oh, I wish I could let everyone smell this species of iris -- OMG talk about SWEET! That's probably the real reason why I prefer to do close-ups -- "working" is just an excuse! :) LOL!

SO LOVELY AND DELICATE

Artist Reply: Thanks Angelina! Wind, rain, dogs nor herds of running cats can stop the iris bloom! I love how the iris seems a delicate thing, but in truth is quite hardy -- just like women! LOL!

very beautiful iris and framing technique - nicely done, Tree!

Artist Reply: I wanted to coax a bit more attention to that teal green that snuck into the shadows on the petal ruffles and thought the border may be an effective way of doing so. Thanks!!!

Gorgeous, scrumptious and highly accomplished work.

Artist Reply: My thanks! Perhaps when we find a subject that gets into us it can bring out the best within us. :) I await each spring with hunger for my iris'!
