Flight To Sunrise

'Flight To Sunrise' is a 2003 24'x36' oil on foamboard. Driving east on Marine Drive one morning, next to our beautiful Columbia River, I was driving right into a magnificent sunrise behind a sparkly white Mt. Hood. An airplane was coming straight out of the sunrise towards me on landing approach. I went back to the studio and painted the feeling of the morning. This work is signed and dated front; signed, titled, and dated reverse.
