Mama fox that i have been keeping an eye on around my stable. I was doing chores the other day and a crow started complaining and i always go to see what they are getting worked up over and sure enough there she was, trying to rest. Its a mixed feeling about her presence so near my stable, rabies and s.mange being a concern. I watched her two pups playing the other eve, very much like cats playing, but no photo opportunity.

What a great capture. We have a lot of critters here, but no foxes. What type of lens were you using ?Gary Glass 08 May 2006
very nice Deb, a shame the flower is blocking part of the eye and face but it still holds up prett good. I know how it is or can be shooting in the wild ,it sometimes is very hard to get all the elements to fall in place when your shooting in fleeting moments with your subject.. Look forward to see if you get some young fox images..Anne Vis 08 May 2006

A great capture and I second your concern regarding what they might carry, yet on our property, they naturally keep the ground squirrels out of our corrals and pastures, so they are most welcome guests!Loredana 08 May 2006
