About thirty years ago, I was commissioned to illustrate numerous stories for the California Today Magazine. This is one of the acrylic on board renderings that came from that year. The story was tragic. A cable from one of the Trams snapped and sliced through the cabin. The survivors had to be rescued and it took quite awhile to get them all down safely. My illustration style changed constantly in those years as I explored as many mediums as possible as well as subjects. Being an illustrator for over 30 years was very rewarding.

Excellent illustration and sad story. I understand about changeing styles and how long it takes to get comfortable in one medium, but I think we are all changing all of the time, even though we have done something for years :) Excellent detailed designing and well documented story in this image !!~******~!!Reba McDonald 26 Apr 2006
