H2O: Across Another Sea

As the world runs dry (and it's beginning to happen!!!) through the excesses and waste of 'bio' and Hydrogen fuels, the world reaches a critical point and Water becomes an expensive necessity. Wars are fought over water not ideals, and the battles are bloody & ruthless because life depends on it! So the great Corporations become richer, dredging inter-planetary ice into our atmosphere to rain as great flash-floods, until the asteroid belts too are running dry, and even the harshest rationing can barely sustain the now failing drought-tolerant agricultures of the world's richest of nations. H20 becomes our single most precious substance and its lack, the imperative that finally drives us out beyond our own sun's reach; the great Ryu-Miyake Corp - set to drive record profits - sends out syphon-ships to begin harvesting H2O from worlds unlike anything we've ever encountered before...
