Robbie Williams by mark jorgenson

He is huge over here, he was in one of our most popular boy bands 'Take That' who after ten years apart, have reformed to become even more successful. Robbie hasn't joined them though, but we are still holding our breath, you never know? I love how you have used your oil pastels, I can't for the life of me use this medium and I made the mistake of buying a large box of them. Any advice on using them would be extremely appreciated please? Joanne:)

Artist Reply: Thanks for the info on Robbie a friend from Britian asked me to draw him and I got the feeling he was kind o the Anthony Nuely of this generation, movies music and acting. The trick to using oil pastels is to get a large crayon or eyebrow pencil sharpener and cut them to a point it wastes alot of oil pastel but unless you bought th expensive kind they are cheap and the other trick is to lay down a preliminary marker drawing or watercolor and then spray it with workable fixative and then you can have alot more control. I am not familiar with his music, but someone told me that he is pretty big in europe. Nice drawing. I am going to assume you got him "bang on" since I have no idea what he looks like, but know that YOU are very talented.
