Bon Pas Creek

9"x12" acrylic on canvas. Creek in Southern Illinois where my Dad was raised. He and his siblings played along the banks of this creek in their younger years. Unfortunately, he passed away a few years ago and will never see my interpretation of his childhood memories.

When I win the lottery I'm buying this one ..Just love the colors - Nancy Lambert

Artist Reply: How sweet! Unfortunately, someone beat you to it! Remember Starlene, our genealogy friend? She bought it and also "View from Old Stoneface". Thank you so much Nancy, for viewing my work and commenting. I'll have plenty of others painted by the time you win the lottery!

nice work. would like more contrast on left.

Artist Reply: Well, I'd like to say it was the scanner's fault ...but no, this image looks very near to what I painted. I appreciate your suggestion but frankly, I really like it just the way it is. However, I would be very happy if you would critque some of my other work when you get a little time. Art is always in the "eye of the beholder" and it's interesting and very educational to try to see my art from someone else's "eye". Thank you for stopping by and viewing and commenting on this work. I really do appreciate it very much!
