What if God was one of us? Just a stranger on the bus trying to make his way home back up to heaven all alone...Yes! Yes! God is Good! Yes!!! Yes, God is Great...What if God was one of us... Just a slob like one of us? What if God was one of us... nobody calling on the phone except maybe for the Pope in Rome...Yes! Yes, God is Good!!! Yes! Yes, God is Great!!! These are the words from a song I love. I don't know who it is by. It was written and sung by a women in the 80's, Joan Osborne, I believe. Please don't misunderstand my meaning...I do not think this person is God or any of us is God...it is just a way I try to think and live. I do not want to take the Glory from Jesus Christ...But this is just my reminder for myself to see his spirit in others. I just wanted to share a thought that has been in my head ever since I heard this song... Thanks for spending a moment in time with me...Love to you as best I know how...I do not expect others to think like me about life or God. All have free will and the right to live life the way they desire. I only explain this phto so you do not derive the wrong thoughts from it. Sincerely Christine

Very creative. Wonderful work.Cathy Holford 05 May 2008
Yes, that song was made famous by Joan Osborne and is one of my favorites. It was written by Eric Bazilian. That's actually what Jesus did when he came to earth. He came like one of us and he encouraged those on the fringe that others looked down on.Namita Kulkarni 04 Sep 2007

Well, you have such a sweet spirit. In the book it says something close to this song and it is worded like this. ~Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it~.Hassan Pasha 20 Jul 2006

I agree with Mary J Christine God is in each and everyone of us, all the goodness is inside of us but we don't always use it for the good and glory of God. God bless you and your family, your mum is a beautiful kindly lady, a beautiful image. MaryMary Janosik 22 May 2006

Yes god is every where... just read awhile back to the junoir church class I help with sometime a story of a farmer and he friend who fight...So the one want to build a fence. But need help the morning he want to start building a stranger came said he would help... Man hires him then need more supply when to town when he came back. The strange had built a bridge to him friend property. Which end the fight? The man asks him to stay but the strange who was Jesus said he had other people to help... If such then potentially we would not see the earth and heaven merge as a person and forsake that envisioning of the latent and ongoling reality for a corn chip!!! Beautiful Message!!!!Jessica Phillips 12 Apr 2006

A wonderful portrait of a strong, enduring, sensitive woman whom God chose to keep close to him in spite of all the bad things heaped upon her defenceless head. She has has thrived and survived under His protection. It's a great and loving tribute to your mother Christine.Jay Amatangelo 08 Apr 2006

Splendid rainbows and lighting Effects...around this LADY...A very pleasant lady with a WONDERFUL Smile on her face.I look also at this number...which i'm sure say something for those believe in NUMEROLOGY....I look at mubers,alot....not in the conventional way though, but as symbols. I'm not familiar with this song,at least, not remember those words from any song.Personally, you know Christine ,that i'm not religious.I believe God is a POWER...I beleive in every and each of us there is that power,as part of GOD...If we choose to believe in it.The POWER of our thoughts, and our ACTS...WILL lead the way for our LIFE,And maybe DEATH too.Armando Salas 07 Apr 2006
