This stretch of trail consists of many switchbacks across an old rockfall. Occasionally there is a new rock or two. The same shot taken in the spring is not as pretty...it is too "busy" with too many leaves. Sometimes less is more. The 2nd shot is just a small representation of the rock faces this trail follows. It not the easiest hike, but worth the effort. (This is the same day the trillium photo was taken.)
