Reminds me of a pitcher plant, similar to a Jack -in-the- pulpit flower. Like a Venus Fly trap, this plant looks to hold in front a well of sticky appealling fluids to attrack insects and trap them for digestion. Really cool plant, have not seen this one before!
Great photo. It looks like it is in the orchid family, but it might also be a Venus Flytrap species. Mostly found in the south or tropic regions, I believe.
