I love trees and I love painting them! I created this painting for my best friend, Rita. She says my trees look like "people dancing." Cranberry Forest came from a dream I had about a very inviting forest full of one color!!
This is so lovely and dreamy Steve. The colors you chose are magnificent. I like the composition of this painting, the calm and thoughful mood and feel, and the title of the piece too. Awesome work Steve! And thank you so much for commenting my work too. Have a great day! :)
You know Steve,..just got through looking down your list of comments to see if I'd commented before,..because looking at your painting I'd seen it myself somewhere before too. It was on the main page, in the center samples area, here a short time ago, but when I clicked on it all I got was a whole bunch of other work in that catagory,..so I gave up. But now here we are talking,...wow,...God works in strange ways! This is very striking,...a cool dream to have,...it really looks great!!!!
Artist Reply: Thanks so much, Gregg! I've only been on here(AW) since Feb, but the best part is that I can get encouraging feedback about my art as well as meet great people, take care! ^_^
before reading any other comment including your description I knew and expected Dancing trees to be mentioned. I love how you have embraced life and cradled it in the contours of the mountains. It allows your path to grow out instead of ending inexplicably
Yes, they do look like they're dancing--so full of wonderful movement! Your love for trees show in the way you paint them--full of life & celebration! This art work is so dreamlike & mystical, very cool.
