Rigging on the Cutty Sark

On the afternoon of Monday, 22nd November, 1869, a beautiful little clipper ship was launched from Scott and Linton's shipyard at Dumbarton. The Cutty Sark is the only surviving extreme clipper, and the only tea clipper still in existence. Greenwich, London. Great photo, Fiona. As a sailor myself, albeit retired, I really appreciate the beauty of this picture. Glad I never had to memorize those lines and halyards...
