i like it alot, i just think the oilish texture doesnt feel right. maybe spray paint? but this would be somewhat difficult to stencil. and i think it came out nice and straight-edged for a freehand painting. props.
Artist Reply: I can see how spraypaint would work for this. In person the oil effect is a bit different. More successful. I've done some stenciling and spraypaint work myself and have considered getting back to it. thanks for your comments!

this is really wonderful - the use of red with the strong contrasting black allows the eye to more easily read the landscape abstractly. Great composition and idea.
