Really creative...what part of the human form is this? Very different! I like the textured look on the glaze.
Artist Reply: I love the way abstraction can open up questions without clearly defined answers. But to me, the form that you see is the waist and bottom area of a woman, then the legs almost hidden within a skirt. The firing technique and glazing technique is raku, out of the kiln whilst red hot and then immersed into sawdust to return the chemicals back to their metal form! its such an exciting way to fire, derived from the Japanese
