So elegant, John...and the mystery of the red highlights...almost "scenic"--interesting, jarring element...not only the color, but also the sharp contrasting edges...it really contradicts the rest of the portrait, yet it is in harmony...seems to complete the figure but doesn't--it suggests the other shoulder or the tails of the scarf...but, not...very interesting. I'm intrigued by your intent.... I like how that red element adds intrigue and balance to the softly, moody beauty of the portrait.
