(c)2003 Elton Houck...this is not minimalism. Although I am in the middle of posting my series "Minimalism-cut to the chase," I needed a bit more meat on the bones of the work, so that my dear viewers would not faint from lack of nourishment. This work is mixed media, as the original piece was done on 12" X 16" heavy ribbed Strathmore acid free paper using oil sticks, pastels, charcoal, felt marker, colored pens, fixative, and acrylic gel medium. A minor bit of work was completed with "Paintbrush" via computer-- primarily the signature.
