Yeah, with strong surface areas with softer detailing this works very well Susan - Solarization or Posterization (I have never figured out why each isn't the other...) is a great photo-process for this wonderful composition!
Artist Reply: i did these cars several years ago.. they were done just playing around with layers and blend modes. ..infact most of my filter artwork is done by making several layers, diff effects to each layer, then diff blend modes again to each layer. its a lot of exsperimenting..untill it feels right to me...thanks for all your nice comments chas :)
