A wonderful piece, with a sophisticated, "finished" look. I particularly like the subject; she looks like a beautiful version of Mother Hydra from H.P. Lovecraft. Who says monsters have to be hideous?

This looks like an octipuss/mermaid. Colors would look nice on a BIRD, which could be done for a mother.
