I'm getting in some acrylics practice, and these flowers seemed to be as good a subject as anything else. Painted on canvas board, measuring 18x14 inches. Copyright © Steph Salt This painting as been donated to The MacMillan Nurse Hospice in Derby. I took it there on the 31-1-06. Today I recieved a thank you letter from them, I've added a zoomed in photo of the letter, minus addresses etc. in the zoom feature below the main picture.

You did a Fantastic job in allowing the flowers to be 'flowers'! The pedals placement looks very natural as do their colour hues and the greens of the leaves.. great work with light and shadow too.
