You know somewhere in time, everyone had a dress they just hated and to make peace you had to wear it. I did this sketch awhile back and was remembering a dress my Mother had made for me. I was going to my first dance and she had finished this thing and had it hanging on my closet door ready for me to put on. I love pink and mauve colors, but this dress was to far fetched even for me. I did wear it to the dance and never had anyone ask me to dance. I still think it was that dress! But, my Mother took the time to make it and I will always remember the hours she spent on it.
