This painting was done in water colour on paper and is now in a different frame and is matted. This was from a period in my life where even though I was with someone I was very much alone much like this old man who also appears in my painting lonesome which shows him once again walking alone only in a Canadian winter setting. In this Painting the rain is beating down on him only adding to his (and my)aching feeling of lonliness.
