Well this is something completly different for me, I have recently started an art and design course in which we've been looking at different mark making frottage etc and combining different media. As you can see from my previous work I am used to lots of details and realistic pictures so doing this abstract was quite a challenge for me. It is 33x23 inches (A1) and has been done using acrylic paints, frottage (rubbings), mono printing and various other things. The idea of this came from a tonal sketch I did of some books. I am still in 2 minds which stlye I prefer doing but it was good fun all the same.
