one thing i do is save every sketch,in piles and in the computer,i even back them up.seeing the progression of each piece and the changes help for the next. it is hard to imagine what a piece will look like,after all it is just a tree,a door,a line or shade on a piece of paper.in the end it becomes a dedication for my fathers father.a man i knew far to little about.this is the second family tree i will be painting,not the last.but for now i do this one for my father.for love,respect,and thanks.
