Stu, U really have the magnetic promise land coming right at us! What a phenonmenal n mind bending image. Nothing chessy or unpro about any of this! Detect a green monster in some of the comments. that's ok, let them stew! I love it. the color n forshortening is wonderful. It takes U there. have a great day n send in the clowns, they need a good scare once in awhile to keep them in line, it makes the blood flow ...maybe they will behave or take up martial arts to fight off the demons or church, start believin in the power of prayer. Actually, you could make this pic more stunning with get rid the black BG off. I think your pic should full of color. (just a thought) Coz, i really like the coloring of the wizard. It looks so mystical for me. But, the rest is too dark and Uncaptivative when in thumbnail. Hehehe, sorry. I'm just try to be honest.
Ps. with the righthand in the front and the position of the body like that. I think the left hand should be far away on the back and not in the side of the wizard. :) Once more time it just a thought.

Nice combination of the cheesy old school stars and moon robe and the dynamic comic-style pose, foreshortening and intense lighting/shadowing. Nice one bruvva!
