Fantastic color. I didn't want to criticize the subject here, coz i don't have a clue what is it. But all i know is you did the cloud masterly. THe one i didn't like is copyright typo on the bottom. It's too big and kinda like disturb the whole art. Coz the font is doesn't match the other. Yeah i think.

Busted. I have a poster of the M16 Eagle Nebula as taken by the Hubble Space Telescope and the background galaxies were inspired by this. The ship design was constrained by the descriptions in the book, but even still I admit its a little cliché.

This is just great, the beauty and mystery of the space-stuff in the background is truely top notch. I'm not crazy about the ship design but that's just a personal niggle and it's certainly not bad, just not quite up to the outstanding level of the background. All in all a wonderful illustration that must have made the author and publisher extremely happy.
