love the colors you have chosen, very moody...lends a deep mystery to the theme.

Artist Reply: Thank you so much John for viewing my work. It makes me happy when others look at my work and see so much. I appreciate the comments on the moodiness of the piece because I am an emotional painter and I want my work to convay that at all times. Thank you so much.

I don't know what to say...I want to say many things...but am bound to stillness and held in the colors of thought...the hues are unusual. sage and amber... perfect for this scene...all I can say is ...I feel like I am in this piece... Circling in the lamentable lines of the robe and then my soul sets in the lost shadows...moves up to the regal hidden face and lingers...but there is a subtle gold corona of hope, comfort and promise of healing...very moving, Kautreena!!! This was an excellent way to let go...the emotion communicates with a soft binding force...

Artist Reply: You are so very sweet and kind Christine, thank you once again. This piece is only one of 11 that I have painted and placed together to form an Altar Piece, like the ones done in the pre 1500's. You bless me with your thoughts. Thank you so very much.I am without words to say how much your comment means to me. I wish you totally joy in all you do my friend. Isobell

Excellent piece.. The sadness and hope are so well presented!

Artist Reply: Greetings Jimmy, yes there is so much sadness in this work, it gladens my heart when someone else can see what I am trying to convay when I paint a piece like this. Thank you so much!!
