Jean's oldest granddaughter

8x10 pencil portrait on 100# Bristol paper. This is a commissioned work for a Christmas present. I thought the young lady had a elegant face, she doesn't like her teeth so she rarely smiles showing them is what I was told. Sorry to say I missed taking a photo or scan of the finished product, because I did some tweeking after this shot was taken. Even added a tiny pink heart that represented the grandma that purchased them.

Nicely done. The hairline and collar are most impressive. Like the shadows on the shirt. Well done. Bristol is great for smoothing, isn't it? Wonderful portrait!

This is just lovely Terry! I too hid my teeth at that age. I love the subtle smile, though, you know she wants to break into a big grin.

Yes...she sis beautful and you did a wonderful job...you can tell she is kind of holding back that grin...that even makes this all the more endearing though...you caught so much emotion...incredible...Reminds me of Juliet from the Movie in the 60's or so...she had a wonderful look much like this lady. The Romeo and Juliet Movie! did you see the one I mean?

gorgeous and beautiful work> I love this face, it's lovely and elegant. She looks very classic and she has a great style! I think her teeth are okay, but she is still very young and she isn't maybe not enough sure of herself! SHE CAN BE!!!! SHE IS LOVELY!
