This is Toya from Ayashi no Ceres aka Ceres: Celestial Legend, creator Yuu Watase. I love her artwork. I've wanted to do a fanart forever now, like 3 years...finally sat down and did one. I tried to match her style a bit...very very hard to do. And I have no idea what my fascination with hair is, but Toya has a lot more hair than he should. I drew this a few months back, and didn't like it as I started to color it, but for some reason I changed my mind...good choice? I am proud of this...well except the funky arm joint thing...still struggling with perspective/anatomy. And yes, there was a certain DVD/manga cover that I used as my "guide". Done in mainly prismacolor marker. Colored pencil was an undertone, but you can't see it anymore. Acrylic paint and watercolors used as well (and Marker paper is so thin, it buckled). Micron pen.
