The other day I received two beautiful Poinsettia's; in addition to the one from my Dear Husband David, I also received another from a Dear family member. Along with the poinsettia's, I received a magazine with an article how to care for your Poinsettia. And in that very informative article there was a piece written on the Legend of the Poinsettia. The article said; legend has it that there was a poor little Mexican girl who wanted to bring flowers to the Christmas eve church service; to present them as a gift to The Baby Jesus. But she was too poor to buy any; so she picked out some blooming weeds and made them into a simple bouquet. The little girl offered them during the church service; and as she did, they burst forth into a brilliant red poinsettia. From then on the poinsettia is known as; Flores de Noche Buena, Flowers of The Holy Night." This is an Inspired original untouched photo close up of the same beautiful Poinsettia that David gave me; But this just gives you a closer look of this lovely Christmas plant. Have a Great Day!
