This 22"x20" Watercolor is of the Goden Gate Bridge in 1938 during a typical rush hour not long after the Bridge's opening in 1937. The view is looking north from the south approach . This depiction of the Golden Gate Bridge is how most Californians and Bay Area residents think of the it when they recall crossing it. So button up your slicker and hurry to your car, get in, turn on the heater full blast and enjoy this romantic view from the safte of your 1932 model A, the one with the rumle seat in back.
