OOOOhh I like this, first let me say very well drawn. It particularly strikes a cord with me in that i have a similar bridle tassel, given to me by my mother after a trip to portugal, on a riding study trip. i haven't fit it to my animal yet but with soon and take a pic. Quite endearing image.
When drawing horses there are three very important things in capturing their character. Ears, eyes and muzzle and you mastered them all. I like the little speckles on the muzzle. How long did it take you to draw this?
