Excallibur

It isn't really digital painting butthe categories did'nt have anything close to what it really was,and there are a few filters and adjustments on it so I figured that was the closest....

This is a very nice image you created Pete, adding the canvas like effect added a nice touch to the piece. Somebody should make a 3D model of that sword it would sell big time.

wow, very nice Pete,,,if it isn't digital painting, what is it? did you start with a painting? well however you did it ,it turned out great:)

Artist Reply: It started out as a photo of I rock I took up in the adirondacks and a picture of a sword I found in a catalog somewhere...i just stuck them together.......

Pete this is wonderful! This is one of those images where the effect is overpowering in the thumbnail but will print out AWESOME! Beautiful work!

Artist Reply: I was thinking I went a little far but I really like the effects, I never thought of printing it out to see how it looks...I got some very cool software and gave it a run through...so much fun! thanks for the comments!
