Pastel
A portrait of my first child Erin. (I found this in a box after we moved recently). This was done in Erin's early times and my early pastel days (and 'mom' days).
With experience, there are a few things I now see could be done better, yet I would rather keep this as is - a recording and metaphor of a special time of discovery for both her and I, in many ways.

This is lovely Rebecca! A halo seems to softly emninate from the crown of her sweet head. What a beautiful child...I wouldn't change it either...some things just should be left as is..,we can not go back in time...I have ruined some of my works like that and ended up trying for months to remedy the situation.
