The Goat

This is just one of my sketches. The story behind this image started with 'the Golden Limonaire' The Golden Limonaire is a french street organ build in Paris around 1910. What makes this organ so special to me, is the attempt to give it a human voice. This so-called human voice was a total failure and sounded like some kind of animal. Not suprisingly this organ has got 'The Goat' as a nickname. When I hear this organ play the 'goat voice' I imagen just what I´ve drawn. A very posh looking goat in a classic suit of a vocalist. I´m planning to make more art inspired on this organ some day.
