Razorblade Romance

The title was inspired by HIM. I was listening to that cd, and it just seemed to go with this image I had in my head. It doesn't necessarily have to be taken literally as though she is really an evil fairy that had been stabbing at someone, but could represent more of a feeling or emotion. Interpret it how you want. The image just kind of popped into my head.

Watercolor, goauche, ink and colored pencil. 10 x 14"

I don't know of the cd you speak of, but I love this image. The dripping blood seems to swirl into rose like patterns, and the expression on her face makes me wonder just what it is she's thinking. Gorgeous image. The color balance is fantastic. I don't think it would have worked otherwise. Beautiful work!
