What a cool photo! I envy you, I've tried to photograph lighting before, it's not easy. Nice shot Laura!
Artist Reply: Thank you Jane! I follow lighting storms in what ever area I am living. I use a small camera (canon) and place it on the fastest shutter speed. A tri-pod is good and I hold the trigger down half way so that the camera is ready to shoot! Then fire away at the first sign of light! You would be pleased with what you might get! My hubby is always afraid that I will get hit by the lighting! LOL don't stand under any trees! Have fun!
Artist Reply: Thank you Terence!! Do you think it stuck? I beleave this one did! I have another great shot of lighting stiking water! I will have to add it later!
too bad you weren't set up on a tripod for this one. a beautiful capture nontheless
Artist Reply: I wasn't using a tripod but the camera was resting on the porch! I am not so sure why the lights of Geata blurred some! There was two bolts of lighting and they didn't blurr. So I was thinking it was from the brightness of the bolts that made the rest blurred!?? no Idea! Glad you enjoyed it Tracy!!
