This photo was taken a few years ago (before I had a decent camera) at El Mirage dry lakebed. It was such a beautiful day - January air, crisp and clear. This area is often used for automobile advertisements as well as military aircraft landing and crazy people attempting to break the land speed record. The lakebed is huge, flat and smooth. I altered this shot to make it look like a colored pencil drawing.
