Desperation

This is an image that I saw in the newspaper from some stories on hurricane Katrina and couldn't get it out of my mind. It's colored pencil on Mi-Teintes paper. The skin tones kicked my butt on this one.

You've captured the pain and despair. The skin tones are wonderful. I can only hope this father and child are safe now.

What a great expressive piece. It shows so much emotion and you've captured it with your colored pencils. The tones would've been hard, but you definitely pulled it off. Great job Ron!
