I just had the two most amazing weeks in the Catskill mountains. I think there I realized that the place I feel the most artistic is in nature, surrounded by beautiful trees, singing birds, soaring eagles,chipmunks, deer....sound of the running river......and smell of campfire. This one is inspired by this beautiful green place I look forward to all year to visit!!...and of course my daughter's beautiful friend Nichole!- --------------------I want to go back!!!!-- Pencil, colored pencil and acrylics.

I dunno how I missed this one, it's really great. I love the limited color palette with the main color framing the paleness of the face. Then the eyes, jewels and flowers bring it all back together. Just wonderful. :)Ann Fawssett-Atkin 12 Jan 2008

This one is totally gorgious! Especially the eyes, and I really like the way that it's almost an equal portion of black and white and color at the same time! I also like the way that you made her one with nature! Normally, green is my least favorite color, but this one has converted me at least for the moment , I just can't picture any other color looking so great as green does in this one.gerry logan 06 Oct 2007

I love this, and also your story behind it, your inspiration for it.
