The Way Things Were...Saying Goodbye

This is a difficult, but necessary image for me to share. The swimming pool in these shots is the pool I learned to swim in when I was 5. I remember when this pool was being dug. I've spent days there every summer since up until February 21st of this year. Some of you may have seen this on television, but this particular pool belonged to my Aunt Lonnie. It is now gone as you can see. I offer advice to anyone who reads this...the ground that you stand upon is not as solid as you may think. That pool, yard and patio have been there since 1964 and in 1 day it's all gone. Don't take things for granted!
