A photo of the interior of an old style sweet shop in Istanbul which specialises in Turkish Delight, those delicious pink strawberry flavoured gelatine cubes dusted with cardoman and icing sugar. This is a traditional sweetmeat of Turkey and is an international delicacy. The shop was lovely. All glass, wood and shining brass.

The care that wnet into presentation certainly has the flavor of the old time candy stores. Did you bring back a lot of sweeties just dont get sick on them, and remember brushing teeth twice a day prevents cavities.LOL.
