Beautiful idea, and execution!! Thanks also for the explanation of Bristol board. I didn't know there was anything other than the smooth poster board you find everywhere.

Artist Reply: You're welcome Diana and thank you so much for all your kind comments :) When i discovered bristol board i never went back to regular drawing/sketching paper,i use very cheap copy print or regular drawing pad for my initial sketches and then transfer my good work to bristol board :)

This is too lovely n if I didn't have to get to sleep I would love to give U mountins of jeweled words but I am suppose to go to sleep. Know this however... that your art soothes the soul n holds miracles within that shines into the heart! CB

Artist Reply: Awww (((christine))) your words always make me smile and feel so good about what i do with my art :):) Yes i used bristol board for this i use the smooth kind brand name strathmore the 300 series, if you like to get very shiny smooth pencil work the smooth bristol board version is perfect,for my doggie portrait i used the Vellum bristol board because it has more tooth and it grabs on to the pencil especially the darks the vellum is great for colored pencils too :) Thank you so much for your kind comments Christine :):):):)

This is magical as is your pencil skills. I have never seen anyone draw like you. It is as if your work glows. I envy you and this talent. Keep it coming it is delightful to see. Oh yeah, two of my books came in. I let you know what I think after I check them out.
